About Lauren

Lauren Bell is a second year PhD student in the Poulos Food Security Lab at UT-Austin studying the connection between food access, food systems, and chronic disease in the United States. Her current research work includes Marine Fish Consumption on the Gulf Coast, Central Texas’ Mobile Farmacy Program Evaluation, and College Basic Needs around Food.

She holds an MPH in Nutrition from Tulane University and a BA in Psychology and Organizational Sciences from The George Washington University.

She has been a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach since 2020 via the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
