About Lauren
Lauren Bell is a second year PhD student in the Poulos Food Security Lab at UT-Austin studying the connection between food access, food systems, and chronic disease in the United States. Her current research work includes College Basic Needs, CHEFS, a culinary intervention for food insecure college students, and the Food Security Initiative at UT-Austin.
She holds an MPH in Nutrition from Tulane University and a BA in Psychology and Organizational Sciences from The George Washington University.
She has been a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach since 2020 via the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
